The research aims to formulate a framework for the disclosure of carbon emissions based on the latest studies that dealt with the subject, and then measure the level of disclosure of carbon emissions in a number of Arab countries such as Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, UAE, and Syria, by referring to the financial statements of companies listed in the financial markets of those countries, and finally measuring the impact of this optional disclosure of the company's value and financial performance through the use of appropriate statistical tests and arriving at research results.
